Open FSP Meeting

(The following was originally published on the Freedom Socialist Party website.)

You’re invited to a meeting of the Freedom Socialist Party featuring discussions on two key topics:

First we’ll take a critical look at the recent combustion of sectarian rage in Iraq, tracing its relation to war and occupation and the role played by the  American government.  For background on this issue, you can read more at “Fundamentalist onslaught in Iraq: made in USA”
The meeting will also include an update on Israeli aggression in Gaza and a discussion of actions here to support Palestinians.  You can read the FSP statement: End the Israeli assault on Palestine!

The meeting is free.  A tasty brunch (vegetarian-friendly) will be available at 1pm for a $10 donation.
Meeting starts at 1:30pm at Freedom Hall, 113 W. 128th St. (just west of Malcolm X Blvd.; closest subway is #2/3 to 125th St.).

If you’d like more information, call 212-222-0633.  Hope to see you on Saturday.

In solidarity,
Susan Williams
NYC FSP Organizer
