(The following was originally published on Shawn Eckles campaign website.)
Congressional candidate Shawn Eckles has received his first campaign endorsement from a political party. The Reform Party of North Carolina has announced a list of candidates statewide that the Party recommends to voters in contests where the Reform Party doesn’t have its own candidate.
Eckles is running as an official write-in candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives, District Nine, representing portions of Iredell, Mecklenburg and Union Counties. He is “unaffiliated” with any party.
In other election developments, the sample ballots have been released. For the Dist. Nine Congressional seat, the Republican incumbent is named on one line, and a second line is for the write-in candidate.
