Sanpete County Constitution Party of Utah held its convention on April 18, the first convention in nearly eight years. Attendance was disappointing with only a few of the 60 members of the party able to attend.
The countywide caucus held a month earlier on March 27, had a better turn out. County Chairman Ray Truitt stated the party board was committed to revitalize the party in Sanpete.
He also said that several members had planned to attend but between unforeseen emergencies and health issues, they were not able to attend, although they were at the Caucus meeting…
However what is noteworthy about this recent convention is this:
The guest speaker, Sterling Allan, spoke about a unique science that forecast historic events by using the Bible with a number system.
Interesting to note, however, is not only that Mr. Allan is a conspiracy theorist and self-described ‘prophet‘ that was excommunicated from the LDS Church for apostasy and harboring extremist views, but recently went through a divorce after having confessed online to being a pedophile, and afterward resigned from several organizations that he formerly ran because of the personal drama on his end as well.
While unsubstantiated, it is considered unlikely that the Sanpete affiliate of the Utah Constitution Party was fully aware of Mr. Allan’s controversial background and recent self-disclosure of his “addiction to lust”.
