Open Letter to the Democratic Party

This concerns the Democratic Party website, which strangely lists candidates for the Republican Party 2016 presidential nomination while omitting the candidates for the Democratic Party 2016 presidential nomination.

I sent the following message to the site’s webmaster using the feedback link.  Those of you who also wish to know which of the hundreds of FEC filed presidential candidates the DNC actually recognizes can do the same.

Where are the bona fide 2016 Democratic Party presidential candidates?

I see that there are hundreds of candidates filed with the FEC so I came on here to see which ones the party officially recognizes (specifically whether it recognizes Lawrence Lessig). On your website, when I clicked on the 2016 tab, all I found was the Republican Party presidential candidates. It is very strange to see a list of Republican Party presidential candidates on the Democratic Party page. I don’t understand this at all because I can easily find the bona fide Republican Party presidential candidates on the Republican Party website (and by the way, if you intended to list all the bona fide Republican Party candidates, you missed former Internal Revenue Commissioner Mark Everson, whom the GOP officially recognizes).

If not on this website, where then can I find a list of the bona fide 2016 Democratic Party presidential candidates?

Thank you for reading this.

Last election cycle, the Libertarian Party had issues with determining which presidential candidates to list on its website.  At the moment, the party website has no such list.  Perhaps the LP and other third parties can pay attention to how the Democratic Party handles (or ignores) this matter.

The Republican Party lists its 18 bona fide  presidential candidates here.
