Press release from the Vermont Progressive Party’s website, June 15th, 2016:

BURLINGTON, VT-The Vermont Progressive Party is pleased to announce Josh Wronski as the Party’s new Elections Director.

Mr. Wronski comes to the Progressive Party with a strong background in labor and community organizing, having spent the last three years working as a union organizer with the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) and American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME). During his time with these organizations, Mr. Wronski worked on several successful organizing campaigns. He also worked with low income housing residents as an organizer with the Vermont Affordable Housing Coalition after moving to Vermont, and attending Saint Michael’s College in 2007.

Josh said” I am excited to take on this new role. Not only does the Party have more candidates up for election throughout the state, but Vermonters are highly energized to take on the political and economic elite as a result of Bernie’s political revolution. The Progressive Party has been at the forefront of the fight for economic and social justice, and this year we are confident that we will increase our presence in Montpelier”

Emma Mulvaney-Stanak, Chair of the Vermont Progressive Party (VPP), announced Mr. Wronski’s addition to party members this week stating, “Josh brings a great passion for progressive issues and a strong background in supporting union and political campaigns to the Party. Josh will provide excellent field support to the record number of Progressive candidates running for office this election cycle. We are all very lucky to have him on board.”

Kelly Mangan, former VPP Executive Director, stepped back from her position recently in preparation of welcoming her second child later this summer.
