ATPR interviews David Earl Williams III, Illinois congressional candidate

David Earl Williams III, an independent, write-in congressional candidate in Illinois’ 9th district affiliated with the state’s Libertarian Party, was interviewed by this ATPR/IPR editor earlier today at the Niles Public Library. Williams was at the library attending a meeting of the Illinois Center Right Coalition, and along with Libertarian Party U.S. Senate candidate Kent McMillen, Constitution Party write-in U.S. Senate candidate Chad Koppie and write-in congressional candidate in the 10th district, Joe Kopsick, gave a speech to the conservative group (ATPR will upload and publish each of the speeches, which included a question and answer session with the audience, tomorrow). Williams mentioned in the interview that he is exploring the possibility of a statewide run for office under the Libertarian Party banner in 2018 and is even open to considering seeking the Libertarian Party’s vice presidential nomination in 2020.
